Elizabeth Lea (Hodson) Harmon

Elizabeth Lea Hodson Harmon of Toms Brook, VA, went to be with the Lord on November 30th, 2022, at the age of 85. 

A funeral service for Mrs. Harmon will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2022, at Stover Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Funkhouser officiating.  Mrs. Harmon will be laid to rest beside her late husband in Rockville, MD.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Mrs. Harmon was born June 8, 1937, in Shenandoah County, Virginia, the eldest of eight children to Edward Hubert and Bessie Lafollette Hodson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband Tillman Frank Harmon, Sr., her brothers Russell Hodson, Kenneth Hodson, Linwood Hodson, and Norman Hodson, her sisters Rosie Rutz and June Steward, and her son, Donald Rinker.

Survivors include her children Dian Elliott, Brenda Robinson, Doris Wells, and Tillman Frank Harmon II; 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; her sister Shirley Orndorff, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Elizabeth will always be remembered for her strength, resilience, joy, laughter, and loving spirit. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
