Dorothy Ann (Keller) Jenkins

Dorothy Ann Keller Jenkins, 94, of Strasburg, VA passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at The Maynard in Strasburg, VA. 

Mrs. Jenkins was born in Strasburg, VA on July 11, 1930, a daughter of the late Harry Lee and Grace Elizabeth Burnshire Keller, Sr. She was the wife of the late Jack Gordon Jenkins.  Dorothy was a graduate of Strasburg High School and worked for People’s Drug Store in Strasburg for many years.  She was a lifelong member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and a member of the Cedar Hill and Massanutten Garden Clubs.  Dorothy won many awards for her beautiful floral arrangements.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers Harry Keller, Jr. and wife Ann, Fredrick Keller and wife Evelyn and a brother-in-law James Pomeroy, Jr. 

Survivors include her sister Katherine Keller Pomeroy of Strasburg, VA; nephews Pete Pomeroy and wife Jackie of Front Royal, VA, George Mark Keller and wife Cheri of Salem, VA and Andrew Clark Keller and wife Crystal of Strasburg, VA; her great nephews, Cody Pomeroy, Jeremy Spiker, and Brandon Keller; her great nieces, Rececca Keller and Jessica Bohon along with several great-great nephews and nieces.  

A graveside service for Mrs. Jenkins will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor Chris Flohr officiating.  

Memorial may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 156 W. Washington St., Strasburg, VA 22657.
