Doris "Dory" Elizabeth (Schenfelt) Chandler

Doris Elizabeth “Dory” Chandler, 80, of Burke, VA passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in Burke, VA.

Dory was born at home in Enhaut/Steelton, PA on September 5, 1944, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Schenfelt.  She was formerly employed by the U.S. Air Force, provided services as a U.S. Government contractor, and the Roselle Center for Healing.  She was a founding member of Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, Burke, VA. 

Survivors include her husband Frank “Ed” Chandler.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother John C. Schenfelt.

A graveside service for Mrs. Chandler will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 18, 2024, at Riverview Cemetery.
