Delmer Lee Grady, Sr. age 58, a resident of Bentonville, VA passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Page Memorial Hospital. A funeral service for Mr. Grady will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Pastor Banks Swanson officiating. Burial will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens, Warren County. He was born in Front Royal, Virginia on August 26, 1954 a son of the late Forrest and Mary Margaret Wolfe Grady. Mr. Grady was an employee of Black Top Plus where hung out with the boys. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four siblings, Forrest Grady, Jr., Peggy Burgess, Stella Catlett, and James Grady. Survivors include his loving wife, Scarlett Gordon Grady of Bentonville, VA; his children, Shannon Gordon Bernard of Woodstock, VA Jeffrey "Boo" Grady of Front Royal, VA, Delmer L. "Cooter" Grady, Jr. of Woodstock, VA, Belcher Andy Grady of Strasburg, VA, Stacey Lynn Grady of Front Royal, VA, Ashley Faye "Doodle" Grady of Rileyville, VA, Jamie L. Grady of Statesville, GA, Nora Grady of Stephenson, VA and Mark Grady of West Virginia; 28 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Albert Grady of White Post, VA, Danny Grady, Irvin Grady both of Front Royal, VA, Clarence Grady of Stephens City, VA, Dewey Grady of Woodstock, VA, Alice Edmonds of Stephens City, VA, Flossie Tevault of Toms Brook, VA, Donna Jill Hilliard of Strasburg, VA, and Mary Ann Himelright of Stephens City, VA; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Chris Grady, Virgil Henry, Greg Roberts, Jeffrey Gordon, Shawn Cherry, Barry Miller, Wil Bernard and Jacob Grady. Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7-9 P.M.
