Deborah "Debbie" Funk

Deborah Mauck Funk, age 62, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center. 

A Funeral service for Debbie will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jeff Dillon officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 

Debbie was born in Winchester, VA on October 19, 1958 a daughter of the late Ray and Ariella Riggleman Lupton and was then adopted by the late Elwood Marcus and Ruth Elizabeth Hilbert Mauck.  Debbie was a member of the Strasburg Women of the Moose 1319 and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #4186 in Strasburg.  She retired from Sysco Foods in Front Royal, VA, loved Myrtle Beach and the Bristol Motor Speedway.  In addition to her biological and adopted parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Dallen Mauck, Dennis Mauck, Robert Mauck and Ronald Riggleman. 

Survivors include her loving husband Fred Franklin Funk of Strasburg, VA; her children Missy Sulser (Lyndel) of Gerrardtown, WV, Kristy Maiatico (Tony) of Front Royal, VA, and Jennifer Jenkins (Jimmy) of Martinsburg, WV; her grandchildren, Austin, Randi (Nick), Noah (Diamond), Brandon, Blake (Lindsey), Logan, Nick, Madison, McKenna, Irelyn, Brayden and, Phoenix; her great-grandchildren, Jordon, Elliana and, Emmaliyah; her siblings, Betty Meyer, Mary Blazej of Twin Lakes, WI, Bonnie Rohrbaugh (Ronald) of Quicksburg, VA, James Mauck (Monica) of Winchester, VA, Gary Biller (Della) of Broadway, VA; special friends Shirley Mullaney, Linda Eppard, and Mary Shull; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins along with her beloved fur babies. 

The family suggest that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church, Building Fund, 189 Parson Court, Winchester, VA 22603.
