Darren "Chief" Edward Jenkins

Darren Edward "Chief" Jenkins, 59, of Middletown, VA passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at his home in Middletown, VA. 

Darren was born in Winchester, VA on January 5, 1966 the son of Geraldine Sharon Kerns Jenkins and the late Edward Leo Jenkins.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister Sherri Diane Funk.

Survivors include his mother Geraldine Kerns Jenkins of Middletown, VA; one daughter Heather May Grady of Winchester, VA; two grandchildren; a stepsister Wanda Racey of Stephens City, VA; one uncle Howard Kerns of Stephens City, VA along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A funeral service for Darren will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Stover Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Middletown, VA.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service. 

The pallbearers will be Jeffrey Henson, Douglas Henson, Timmy Neff, Jeff Palmer, Kelvin Henson, and Jimmy Racey.
