Cynthia "Cindy" Slye

Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Slye, 74, of New Smyrna Beach, FL passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Health First's Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, FL.
 
Cindy was born May 22, 1950, a daughter of the late Michael and Rosemarie Delehanty.  Cindy and her Late Husband Ray were Happily married for over 50 years.  Cindy worked for many years at the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission up until her retirement.  She loved spending time at the Beach and in her Gardens and Mostly she Cherished Every minute with her Grandson Jacob. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Loving Husband Virgil “Ray” and Brother William “Bill” Delehanty.

Cindy is survived by her Sons Chris and Ray; Daughter Carla; Grandson Jacob; sister Barbara and Brother Tim.    

A funeral service for Mrs. Slye will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Stover Funeral Home and Crematory.  Burial will follow at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Middletown, VA.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. 

A time of food and fellowship will be held immediately following the Cemetery service at the Wayside Inn, Middletown, VA.
