Charletta Marie Robinson Bailous, age 78, of Strasburg passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at Consulate Health Care of Woodstock.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Strasburg with Rev. Lucy Hughes and Rev. Calvin West officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Bailous was born June 12, 1939 in Strasburg, a daughter of the late Clarence Allen and Joyce Elaine Robinson. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, a member of the United Methodist Women and when able was an active church member. She had worked at Aileen, Inc. in New Market and Virginian Truck Stop, Toms Brook.

Surviving are her sons, Mark Anthony Bailous and wife, Cassandra of Haymarket and James Kevin Bailous and wife, Lyette of Winchester; three grandchildren, Brandon and Morgan Bailous and Christin Lowe; three sisters, Rebecca Dyer of Landover, MD, Hilda Robinson of Wheaton, MD and Edith Wallace of Strasburg; one brother, Medford Robinson of Wheaton, MD.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Nickens, Joe Nickens, Carlos Sanchez, Jevon Bailey, Harold Thompson, Jr. and James Bailous.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home, 177 N. Holliday Street, Strasburg on Monday from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 339 W. Queen Street, Strasburg, VA 22657.
