Cecil Bowers Bott 74 of Strasburg, VA passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Winchester Medical Center. A memorial service for Mr. Bott will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Stover Memorial Chapel. Military honors will be conducted by Shenandoah American Legion Post 77, Strasburg, VA. Mr. Bott was born in Hardy County, West Virginia on May 12, 1944 a son of the late George Bowers Bott, Sr. and Una Bernice Funkhouser Bott. Mr. Bott was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired truck driver. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Funkhouser. Survivors include his son, Joey Bowers Bott and wife Ashley of Strasburg, VA; his grandchildren, Jennifer Bott, Owen Bott and Micah Bott; one great-grandchild, April Copeland; his siblings, Hoyt Bott and wife Linda of Strasburg, VA and Robin Boston of Harpers Ferry, WV.
