Caitlyn Haley Cushman, age 11, of Strasburg passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at the E.A. Hawse Health Center, Baker, West Virginia. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 6th at Restoration Fellowship Church, 2128 John Marshall Hwy., Strasburg with Rev. Brian Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Strasburg. Caitlyn was born August 2, 2002 in Manassas. She was a rising 7th grader at Signal Knob Middle School, Strasburg, was a cheerleader for the Strasburg Midget League Football, a member of Signal Knob FFA and a member of Riverside Church. She enjoyed playing Sims and Roblox. Surviving are her father, Michael Joseph Cushman and companion, Kelly Kalivretenos of Wardensville, WV; her mother, Paula Michelle Gordon Deinert and husband, Sean P. Deinert of Strasburg; seven brothers and sisters, Mickayla M. Cushman, Kyle A. Gordon, Madelyn N. Cushman, Brooklyn M. Cushman, Abigail R. Deinert, Elizabeth N. Deinert and Catherine R. Deinert; her grandmother, Rose Marie Hall of East Machias, Maine; her great-grandparents, Howard and Leonie Cushman of Pownal, Maine. Pallbearers will be Sean Deinert, Kyle Gordon, Michael Gordon, Michael Cushman, Robert H. Blow and Chad Kalivretenos. Honorary pallbearers will be her siblings.
