Buryl Edward Windle

Buryl Edward Windle, 69, of Winchester, VA passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center. 

Mr. Windle was born in Winchester, VA on July 24, 1955, a son of the late Robert Edward and Marie Rozella Stickley Windle.  Mr. Windle was an avid musician who was known for his love of music and songwriting.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Shenandoah American Legion Post 77, Strasburg, VA.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings Brenda Windle, and Michael Windle.  

Survivors include his children Michael Perine, Buryl Windle, II, Robert Windle and Daniel Windle; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild and another on the way; his siblings Larry Windle, and Robert Windle along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.   

An entombment service for Mr. Windle will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2025, at Panorama Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Strasburg, VA. 

Pallbearers will be Daniel Windle, Robert Windle, Daniel Windle, II, Wyatt Windle, James Strother, and Kenneth Strother.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Johnson and Earl Whittington. 

The family asks that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Stover Funeral Home, 177 N. Holliday St., Strasburg, VA to assist the family with final expenses.
