Beverly Cook Ward

Beverly Cook Ward, 82, of Woodstock, VA passed away Friday, September 6, 2024, at her home in Woodstock, VA.

Mrs. Ward was born in Washington D.C. on January 13, 1942, a daughter of the late William Howard and Lorraine Katherine Foster Cook.  She retired from the United States Food and Drug Administration where she worked as an investigator for 38 years.  Mrs. Ward then worked as a secretary for Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock, VA for 18 years.

Survivors include her son Richard William “Rick” Ward of Centreville, VA; two grandsons David Ward and Ethan Ward.

A graveside service for Mrs. Ward will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Sunset View Memorial Gardens with Pastor Deb Horst officiating.
