Sgt Bernard "Berny" Foyle On June 10th Bernard Foyle of Mt. Jackson, VA went home to be with his Lord and heavenly family. Berny passed away at the Martinsburg Veterans Hospital in Martinsburg, WV. A memorial service for Berny will be held at Shenandoah Community Fellowship at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 16, 2012 with Pastor Banks Swanson officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at a later date. He was born May 30, 1950 in Detroit, MI. Berny graduated from Central High School, Bay City, MI in 1969. He served in the United States Air Force as a POL Specialist from 1969 to 1972 with honorable discharge. Berny was a Vietnam Veteran and a life member of the Vietnam Veterans Association. He was a volunteer for the Martinsburg VA Van that transports Veterans to the Martinsburg Hospital for medical care. Berny was also part owner of Vivid Hair Designs and Spa in Woodstock, VA with his wife Carolyn. He was a Deacon at Shenandoah Community Fellowship in Woodstock, VA. Berny always had a hug and a smile to give to everyone. Preceding him in death was his mother Edna Mae Lowe of Michigan. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Jones Foyle of Mt. Jackson, VA; a son Ashley Foyle of Las Vegas, NV; sister's, Syble Jean Rock and her husband Robert Rock of Holton Lake, MI, Juanita Marie Douglas of Cheyenne, WY; a brother, Joseph B. Trejbrouski, of Panam City Beach, Florida and brother-in-law, Larry Jones and wife Barbara of Waynesboro, PA. In lieu of flowers Berny requested that donations be made to the building fund at Shenandoah Community Fellowship, 197 Patmos Road, Woodstock, Va.
