Annetta Marie (Beckner) Spengler

Annetta Marie Beckner Spengler 89, formerly of Strasburg, VA passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Pennsylvania.

A funeral service for Mrs. Spengler will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rob Lovett officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.

Mrs. Spengler was born in Front Royal, VA the daughter of the late Harry Anderson and Daisy Lee McInturff Beckner.  She was a lifelong member of the Strasburg Christian Church. Annetta worked in Strasburg at both the Vaughn’s and People’s Drug Store and enjoyed gardening and sewing.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Spengler and siblings Harry Anderson “Buck” Beckner, Amanda Padgett and Preston “Red” Beckner.

Survivors include her son Michael Douglas Spengler and wife Sharon of Gilbertsville, PA; her grandchildren Lindsay Brooke Spengler, Mark Douglas Spengler (Jill) and Andrew George Spengler (Amanda); her great-grandchildren Chase, Mazie, Paige, Grady and Aubrey.

Pallbearers will be Richard Rinker, Jeffrey Rinker, Drew Carrier, Mark Spengler and Andrew Spengler.
