Anna C. Putman Anna Margaret Clark Putman, age 77, a resident of Strasburg passed away Thursday, April 04, 2013 at Greenfield Senior Living, Strasburg. A funeral service for Mrs. Putman will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Pastor Matthew Knonenborg, III officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Springs Cemetery in the Oranda community of Strasburg. She was born on February 9, 1936 in Winchester, VA a daughter of the late Clifton Howard and Luella Artie Ritter Clark. She was a member of Walnut Springs Christian Church. She was a former employee of Shenandoah County Public School System and Lord Fairfax Community College where she worked in the cafeteria and in food service, and later retired from Chemstone Corp. in Strasburg where she worked in custodial. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Ann Putman, and a sister, Mary Clark. Survivors include her loving husband, Earl C. Putman of Strasburg, VA; her beloved children, Wayne Putman and wife, Sherrie, and Daniel Putman and wife, Tina both of Strasburg, VA; grandchildren, Scotty Putman, Jessica Jarrell, Victoria Putman, Shelbi Putman, and Jamie Garrett; great-grandchilren, Sydney Putman, Lleyton Jarrell, Brandon Garrett, Hailey Garrett, Alyssa Garrett, and Luke Garrett; siblings, Earl Clark and wife, Opal of Sarasota, FL, Betty O'Neil of Stafford, VA, James Robert Clark and wife, Mary, Larry Clark and wife, Jenny, and Jerry Clark and wife, Sue all of Middletown, VA. Pallbearers will be Billy Richard, Johnny Richard, Kevin Stickley, Jeff Clark, Matthew Clark, and Tyler Allowatt. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. Flowers will be accepted or those who wish may make memorial contributions to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W.
