Anna Lambert, age 71, a resident of Woodstock, VA, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 at her home.
To honor Anna’s wishes she will be cremated, and her ashes placed with a newly planted Dogwood tree.
Mrs. Lambert was born July 24, 1949 in Woodstock, VA a daughter of the late Lloyd Jacob and Laura Ellen Harmon Palmer. She was formerly employed with IAC, Inc. in Strasburg, VA. She was an avid gambler and, on many a weekend with her husband could be found pulling the slot machine levers in Charles Town, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Margaret E. Palmer, Robert Lee Palmer, Charles L. Palmer, and Bobby Allen Palmer.
Survivors include her husband Terry Woodward Lambert; her daughter Teresa Y. Brock and husband Edward; her son Chris Lambert and wife Caitlyn; her daughter Dee Cooper and partner Ken Gardner; two sisters Carolyn Yvonne Painter and Betty Anne Warner. She is also survived by five grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggest that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.
