Vanessa Lynn Wymer Taylor, 71, of Middletown, VA passed away Monday, August 17, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Vanessa was born in Woodstock, VA on March 18, 1955, a daughter of Elga Wynkoop Stoneburner and the late Bernard Winston Wymer. She attended First Church of Columbia Furnace. She worked for many years as a caregiver and in retail. Playing cards with her friends and bingo were her favorite pastimes. Vanessa enjoyed spending quality time with her family, she was known for her carefree spirit and the love she affectionally showed those around her. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister Rosa Linda Ramsey.

Survivors include her children Julie Miller, Amy Sager Mauck (Nathan), and Christie Martin (Chris); her mother Elga Wynkoop Stoneburner; her sister Tammy Wymer Pereira (Orlando); her brother-in-law Gary Ramsey; her grandson Jason Daniel Harris Jr. and 5 other grandchildren; her great-grandchildren Shaddix Wayne Harris, and Owen Grady Harris; her nieces and nephews Erica Stinson (Ethan), Robert Stinson (Rebecca), Elizabeth Anne Ramsey, Brad Ramsey, and Mark Ramsey; her great-nieces and nephews Lillian, Levi, and Aubrey.

All services for Mrs. Taylor will be private.
