Susan Diane Hockman 69 of Strasburg, VA passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, at her home in Strasburg, VA.

A funeral service for Mrs. Hockman will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2023 at Stover Funeral Home with Pastor Buster Doman officiating. Mrs. Hockman will be laid to rest privately with late husband at St. Stephen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Mrs. Hockman was born in Winchester, VA on April 3, 1953, a daughter of the late Albert and Cornelia Ann Wymer Hodson.  She was a member of the Meadow Mills Church of the Brethren and retired from the press in Strasburg where she worked for 36 years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Warren Hottle Hockman, Sr. and siblings Marie Loy, John Conard, Joe Mertins, Joyce Curry, and Eugene Pollard.

Survivors include her children Anthony Hockman, Warren Hockman, Jr. (Beth), and Scott Hockman (Carrie) all of Strasburg, VA; her grandchildren Kayla and Emily; great-granddaughter Aspen; her siblings Phyllis Darr (Wayne) of Strasburg, VA, Dougie Hodson of Winchester, VA, Timmy Hodson, Lisa Long (Rick), Wilby Hodson (Diane) all of Strasburg, VA, Cornelia Harrison of Middletown, VA, Lester Roy Hodson of Strasburg, VA, and Mary "Cattie" Colley of Bunker Hill, WV along with several nieces, nephews, and cousin.
