Stanley Lester Wymer, 91, of Strasburg, VA passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Winchester Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Wymer was born in Shenandoah County, VA on August 21, 1934, and was the son of the late Lester Roy and Robie Catherine Spiker Wymer. He was a member of the Meadow Mills Church of the Brethren and retired from Avtex Fibers, Inc. having worked for over 30 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers Roy Leo Wymer, Charles Wymer, Shirley Wymer, Glenn Wymer, and Darl Wymer and three sisters Jacqueline Good, Cornelia Gray, and Mary Jane Wymer.

Survivors include his children Gary Wymer (Susie) of Strasburg, VA and Marlene Wymer Jefferson (Fred) of Winchester, VA; his grandchildren Leslie Brill, Patricia Harris, Jason Wymer, Tyler Jefferson, and Erinn Jefferson; his great-grandchildren Kyndall Brill, Landon Brill, Ethan Harris, Elliott Harris, and Bethany Pendleton; his two sisters Louise Wymer and Gartha Harper along with numerous nieces, nephew and cousins.

At the request of Mr. Wymer, services and burial will be conducted privately.
