Sharon Louise "Sherry" Wymer Moss 74 of Strasburg, VA passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022, at her residence.

A funeral service for Sherry will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at the Strasburg United Methodist Church with Rev. John Haynes, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Sherry was born in Winchester, VA on October 15, 1947, a daughter of the late Alvin George and Anna Catherine Robinson Wymer.  Sherry graduated from James Wood High School Class of 1966.  She was a member of the Strasburg United Methodist Church and retired from the Shenandoah Valley Press.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Thor August Conrad "Buff" Mattson, III.

Survivors include her husband Wayne M. Moss; her sisters Patricia Feathers (George), Jean Renner (Bengy), and Kathy Kump (Dumpy) along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Scott Kump, Greg Feathers, Tim Feathers, Chris Hill, Robbie Dyer, and Lane Kump.
