Rosemarie Weis Hawkins, age 86, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at her residence. A funeral service for Mrs. Hawkins will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Herndon, VA with Pastor Douglas Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon, VA. Rosemarie was born in St. Louis, MO on December 31, 1926, the daughter of the late Ernest and Maude Ashby Weis. She was the wife of the late Glenn A. Hawkins. Survivors include her children, Glenna Hawkins Fox and husband, Carl of Strasburg, Cheryl Dawn Betts and husband, Ike of Inwood, WV, Carol Hawkins Dillman and husband, Wayne of Berryville, VA, and Betty Hawkins Elliott of Strasburg, VA with whom she made her home; grandchildren, Candy Bowers, Kimberly Cochran and husband, Thomas all of Berryville, VA, Wayne "Bobby" Dillman and companion Michelle of Winchester, VA, Dustin "Dusty" Dillman and wife, Deanna of Strasburg, VA, Jonathan Fox of Herndon, VA, Chaz of Manassas, VA, Stacy Fox of Norfolk, VA, Tres Betts and wife, Marjorie of Martinsburg, WV, Megan Betts and companion, Joshua Massie of Winchester, VA; nine great-grandchildren, Melissa and Calleen Bowers, Kiersten Cochran, Justin and Jordyn Dillman, Daniel Raigner, Dana Dalton, and Debra Dillman; sister, Gloria Hawkins and husband, Gilbert; numerous nieces and nephews. The grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-8 P.M. and on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Herndon Memorials may be made to Strasburg Vol. Rescue Squad, P .O.
