Rebecca Louise Ershan, 78, of Maurertown, VA passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026 at her home in Maurertown.

Ms. Ershan was born in Washington DC on February 4, 1948 a daughter of the late Abe and Anna Louise Kline Ershan.

Survivors include her niece, Brenda K. Rosenberger (Danny) of Toms Brook, VA; her nephews Dannie William Scott (Carla) of Strasburg, VA and Jeffrey L. Scott (Susan) of Strasburg, VA; her great nieces and nephews Jason Wymer, Danielle Lutman, Ellen Scott, Colt Scott, Amanda Scholtz, Zachery Scott, and Grant Scott; her great-great nephews Caleb and Sawyer Lutman; her great-great nieces Peyton and Raegan Scholtz along with a host of friends who will miss her dearly.

A funeral service for Ms. Ershan will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Stover Funeral Home with Rev. John Haynes, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Middletown, VA.  If you are not able to attend in person you may join us online by using the Live Service Link at the top of the page.

Pallbearers will be Jason Wymer, Robbie Lutman, Caleb Lutman, Zachary Scott, Jeffrey Scott, and Dannie Scott.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gerald "Fuzzy" Gochenour, Jr. Colt Scott, Grant Scott and Sawyer Lutman.
