Rachel Feathers Ramirez, age 75, a resident of Toms Brook, VA passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Consulate Health Care of Woodstock. A funeral service for Mrs. Ramirez will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 19, 2016 at Stover Memorial Chapel with Rev. Sherry Waddell officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stephens Cemetery. She was born in Strasburg, VA on October 17, 1940 a daughter of the late Kenneth National and Louise Virginia Middleton Feathers. She was a former employee of Johns Manville Corp. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two children, Dale Stewart Orebaugh and Sandra K. Campbell. Survivors include her siblings, Granville L. Feathers of Stephens City, VA, Nancy A. Thomas of Strasburg, VA, Earl K. Feathers of Salem, VA, Jeanette Sheridan of Arkansas and Ethel M. Showman of Woodstock, VA; son-in-law, Tim Campbell and a daughter-in-law, Connie Orebaugh both of Mt. Jackson, VA; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
