Rachael Bowers Keller, 83, of Maurertown, VA passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center, Winchester, VA with her family by her side.

Mrs. Keller was born in Toms Brook, VA on May 29, 1941, a daughter of the late Ernest Edwin Bowers, Sr. and Anna Bell Bowers. She was a 1959 graduate of Toms Brook High School, loved hummingbirds and dogs, was an excellent cook as well as enjoying spending her winters at her home in Aruba.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charles Franklin Keller and a brother Charles Samuel Bowers.

Survivors include her children Daryl Bowers (Jaynelle) of Maurertown, Randy Keller (Lisa) of Harrisonburg, Timmy Keller (Pam) of Maurertown, Glenn Keller (Debbie) of Mt. Olive, and stepdaughter Sara Tyson (Richard) of Elizabeth City, NC; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her siblings Ernest Edwin "Peanut" Bowers, Jr., and Judy Ann McWilliams along with several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Mrs. Keller will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Keller Cemetery with Pastor Jonathan Fletcher officiating.
