Nancy L. Stickley

Nancy Lee Stickley, age 88, formerly of Rolling Acres, Toms Brook and Woodstock passed away at her home in Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday, July 1, 2017.

Graveside rites will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8th at Sunset View Memorial Gardens, Woodstock with Pastor Rob Wescoat officiating.

Mrs. Stickley was born September 25, 1928 in Charlottesville, Virginia, the daughter of the late Earl F. and Maude Ann Pittington Triggs. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Woodstock and was a homemaker. She loved to paint, birdwatch, a devoted gardener and loved all animals. She was predeceased by her first husband, Warren Fadeley and her second husband, Jay H. Stickley.

She was a private person who was very loving, kind and sincere with a giving heart.

Surviving are two brothers, Richard D. Triggs and partner, William S. Jennings of Kansas City, Missouri and Palm Beach, Florida, and James C. Triggs and wife, Barbara of Wellington, Florida and Manalapan, New Jersey; a number of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald E. Triggs and her loving cat Missy.She was cared for by William's sister, Linda L. Wilcoxson of Wesley Chapel, Florida.

The family will receive family and friends at Stover Funeral Home, 177 No. Holliday Street, Strasburg on Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
