Michael Allen Nelson 58, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at his residence.

A memorial service for Mr. Nelson will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Stover Memorial Chapel. Mr. Nelson will be laid to rest with full military honors in a National Cemetery in New York.

Mr. Nelson was born in New York on May 21, 1963 a son of the late Howard Edward and Diane Daly Nelson.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Nelson loved fishing, camping, music, spending time with his family, and helping others.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two siblings, Jeremiah Nelson, Howard E. Nelson, Jr.

Survivors include his children, Craig Thomas Nelson of Strasburg, VA, Jessica Lynn Nelson of New York, Joseph M Willette of Troy NY, and Landon Nelson of Strasburg, VA; his grandchildren Victoria Prew, Alisia Willette, Mariah Willette, Raquel Thompson, Demitri Thompson, Oliver Willette, Felicity Willette, Thomas Woodcock along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
