Michael Hunter “Mike” Grim, Sr., 67, of Strasburg, VA passed away Friday, April 24, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mike was born in Winchester, VA on June 27, 1958, son of the late Ralph Hunter and Martha Ann Robinson Grim. He worked for many years as a truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great nephew.

Mike leaves behind his wife Vickie Vaughn Grim whom he married on August 17, 1980; his son Michael H. Grim, Jr. and wife Dorothy; his grandchildren Michael H. Grim III (Jess), Kathryn Grim and Makayla Grim all of Strasburg, VA; his siblings Sue Wymer (Steve), Roger Grim, and Steve Grim all of Strasburg, VA, and Carolyn Mobley (Paul) of Front Royal, VA; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Mike will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Stover Funeral Home with Wayne Sealock officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

The family asks that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Stover Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
