Michael "Uncle Mike" Clowes of Strasburg, Virginia passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 29th, 2022, at his home comforted by his loving Wife. He was an awesome 69 years cool.

Born to the late Francis and Helen Clowes and Brother to the late Barbara A. Bonfig, Mr. Clowes lived a life only he could have lived. Through tales of Woodstock, Harley rides, wildlife, fishing, hunting, camping, woodworking and just about anything else that was cool, Mr. Clowes was the man that did it. He was truly the coolest dude you would have ever met.

Mr. Clowes' coolness was only outdone by his love for all.  Mr. Clowes was a loving Son, Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle, Great Uncle, Godfather and friend to many, but all paths led to his main love, his soulmate, his beloved Wife, Elizabeth Clowes. Their earthly bond of marriage may have ended at 43 years, but their love will continue eternally.

As Mr. Clowes lived, he will exit this world with a cool breeze through his beard, a pack of Kools in his pocket, a cold Heineken in his hand and the love from all around him.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home and Crematory on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 6 -8 p.m.
