Mary "Johanna" O'Toole, 62, of Toms Brook, VA passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, in Woodstock, VA.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Stover Funeral Home.

Johanna was born on June 11, 1959, in Long Beach, CA. She was the daughter of the late US Naval Captain Arie Sigmond and Mary Behlen Sigmond. Johanna took pride in her extensive career in General Aviation before beginning her own successful accounting business. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her three dogs, gardening, and shopping for random knick knacks. She also enjoyed her role as the Vice Mayor of Toms Brook and was very active in the community.

Johanna is survived by her beloved husband, Robert O'Toole; her son Jonathan and daughter in law Stephanie O'Toole; her daughter Maggie O'Toole; stepson Robby O'Toole, Jr.; grandchildren Chelsea and Brody O'Toole, and Piper McDonald; sisters Nel Stubbs, Dede Goldsmith, Kristen Minton and Ingrid Thompson as well as many nieces and nephews.
