Mary Pryor Leuck, 91, of Tinton Falls passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020.
The service for Mrs. Leuck have been postponed until a later date.
She was born in Wilmington, NC, raised in the Bronx and moved to Middletown to raise her three sons. In 2004, Mary settled in Seabrook Village in Tinton Falls where she was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was employed as a third grade teacher at Nut Swamp School for over 25 years. After her retirement, Mary lived in Shadow Lake Village in Middletown for 26 years. She was a devout Catholic who prayed to her favorite saint, St. Augustine, and was a former parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colts Neck. Mary loved the beach and was a member of numerous beach clubs such as Surf Rider Beach Club and Edgewater Beach Club. She always put her family above others and took pride in being their caregiver. Her sons have fond memories and will always cherish their yearly trips. Her family asks that every time you see a butterfly that you take the time out of your day to think of her. She was predeceased by her son, Christopher G. Wittreich. Mary is survived by her two sons, Joseph Wittreich and his wife, Marianne of Howell, Michael Wittreich of Odenton, MD; a daughter-in-law, Diane Wittreich of Stephen City, VA; eight grandchildren Rebecca, Elizabeth, Matthew, Danielle, Robert, Allen, Joseph and Michelle; two great grandchildren, Cynthia and Evania; one brother, John Pryor and his wife, Elizabeth; nephew, Deacon John Pryor; and niece, Jennifer Turchyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation, 804 West Diamond Avenue, Suite 210, Gaithersburg, MD 20878.
