Marilyn June Mowatt, 90, of Mt. Rainer, MD passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Warren Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Mowatt was born in Washington, D.C. on February 9, 1936, a daughter of the late Vincent S. and Edna Ann Peck Kock. Marilyn was a nurse for many years. She enjoyed crafts, seam stressing, and traveling to other countries to assist with Operation Smile. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Kevin Bruce Mowatt and her brother Vincent Bruce Peck.

Survivors Include her daughter Deborah Ann Mowatt of Strasburg, VA, her two sons, John Raymond Mowatt III of Hollywood, MD and James Samuel Mowatt of West Monroe, LA; her seven grandchildren and nine great - grandchildren.

A memorial service for Mrs. Mowatt will be held at a later date.
