Margaret Williams Bromley 97, of Strasburg, VA passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center, Winchester, VA.

A memorial service for Mrs. Bromley will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Sonya Williams-Giersch officiating.  Mrs. Bromley will be laid to rest with her husband in Riverview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Bromley was born in Strasburg, VA on December 7, 1924, a daughter of the late Sandy Scott and Beatrice Marie Smith Williams.  She was a lifetime member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and retired from Aileen, Inc. in Edinburg, VA where she worked as an office manager.  Margaret then worked for the St. Paul Lutheran Preschool & Child Care Center for several years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Janney "Bob" Bromley, Jr. and siblings Martha Brill and P. Thomas Williams, Archie Williams, John Williams, and Richard Williams.

Survivors include her children Bobbie Jo Poling (Vince) of Strasburg, Donna Sue Davis (Jinx) of Strasburg, Alisa Kline (partner David Reichley) of Woodstock, and Chuck Bromley (Vicki) of Maurertown; her grandchildren Ron Hammond, Jr., Tommie Ann Bower, Christopher Shipe, Jessica Monn, Brooke Dobbs, Joel Kline, Devin Davis, and Alexander Cooper; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sherry Elizabeth Rodgers (Bill) of Oregon along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Margaret's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
