Lula Mae Neff, 74, of Strasburg, VA passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Consulate Healthcare of Woodstock, VA.

A memorial service for Lula will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Stover Funeral Home with Reverend Fred Mauck officiating.  Ms. Neff will be laid to rest at Walnut Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Neff was born in Shenandoah County, VA on May 27, 1949, a daughter of the late John Theodore and Laura Virginia Spitler Neff and was a member of the Meadow Mills Church of the Brethren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Franklin Theodore Neff, Boyd Neff, David Neff, Anna Bell Neff, Katherine Bowers, Mabel Lam, and Bethel Funk.

Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special caregiver Christine Lucas Brown.

Memorials may be made to Meadow Mill Church of the Brethren, Building Fund, Patsy Cooley, 2001 Chapel Road, Middletown, VA 22645.
