Loretta Lichliter Joachimi 96 of Woodstock, VA and formerly of Strasburg, VA, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Pine Meadows in Woodstock, VA.

A graveside service for Mrs. Joachimi will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2021, at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor Keith Warren officiating.

Loretta was born in Strasburg, VA on August 4, 1925, a daughter of the late Walter Franklin and Mary Catherine Fishel Lichliter. She was a graduate of Strasburg High School Class of 1944. She was the wife of the late William Edward Joachimi.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two stepchildren Sandy H. and Michael E. Beresford along with eight siblings.  Loretta was the last living member of her generation of family.

Mrs. Joachimi was survived by several nieces and nephews.
