Lanna Belinda Himelright

Lanna Belinda Peer Himelright, 74, of the Cedar Creek community in Zepp, VA passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in Winchester, VA.

Mrs. Himelright was born in Shenandoah County, VA on December 2, 1951, a daughter of the late James Livingston and Katie Lulah Miller Peer. She was a member of the Strasburg United Methodist Church and a volunteer for Lydia’s Family Thrift Shop in Strasburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Garland Lee Himelright, Sr. and a sister Connie Peer.

Survivors include her children Garland “Lee” Himelright, Jr. and James Carlton Himelright; her grandchildren Ashlyn Nicole Johnson, Katlyn Marie Himelright, Ben Cooper, and Tryniti Storm Himelright; her great-grandchildren Kaiden McDonald, Brooklyn McDonald, Graysen Johnson, and Raelyn Johnson and sister Tandy Peer.

A funeral service for Mrs. Himelright will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2026, at Stover Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Haynes, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.
