Kenneth Allen Phelps, 71, of Strasburg, VA passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Phelps was born in Fort Leonard Wood, MO on September 10, 1953, son of the late Kenneth Grant and Josie Catherine Showers Phelps.  He worked as an auto mechanic and a farm hand.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Beverley Rea Via-Bridges Phelps.

Survivors include his daughter Senseny Dawn Solomon (Adam); his granddaughter Ava Rea Solomon; his siblings Mike Phelps of Norfolk, VA, David Phelps of Chesapeake, VA, Brenda K. Phelps of Luray, VA and James Phelps of Woodstock, VA along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services and burial for Mr. Phelps will be held privately.

The family asks that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Stover Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
