Joseph "Joe" Gregor, 88, of Front Royal, VA passed away Monday, February 2, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.

Joe was born on April 6, 1937, in Hungary a son of the late Imre and Katalin Figler Gregor. He was a gifted cabinet maker and very talented in woodworking.  Joe retired from First Bank where he worked as a maintenance engineer.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lela Lavon Laconia Gregor and a son Michael Joseph Gregor.

Survivors include his children Kathryn Mahoney, and Sonya Haynes (Brett); his grandchildren Heather Gibbs, Krystal Hosendove, Megan Accornero, and Tripp Haynes; his great grandchildren Owen, Kynlee, Raelynn, Brixton, Kennedie, Kyzon, Trevyn, Kaia, and Aubryn along with a special friend Sammy Henry.

A celebration of life for Joe will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Stover Funeral Home.  He will be laid to rest privately.  The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
