Janet Popejoy Brown 80 of Woodstock, VA passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital.

Services and burial for Mrs. Brown will be conducted privately.

Mrs. Brown was born in Washington DC on April 26, 1942, a daughter of the late Josiah Christopher and Virginia Catherine Hunter Popejoy.  Mrs. Brown was previously employed with Cox Communication.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siters.

Survivors include her children Pamela Boggess (James), Lesley Locascio (John), and Donald L. Brown, Jr.; her grandchildren Amanda Locascio, Travis Boggess, Trevor Boggess (Lauren), Dustin Locascio (Meredith), and Nicholas Donald Brown; her great-grandchildren Hunter, Indiana, Audrey, Lucy, Paxton, Josiah, and Calvin; her sisters, Dora Gonyer and Jean Hice along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
