Jane Eye Rosenberger 78, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at her residence.
A graveside service for Mrs. Rosenberger will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Riverview Cemetery with Rev. John Haynes, Jr. officiating.
Jane was born in Winchester, VA on August 26, 1943, a daughter of the late Lionel Lee and Lottie Mae Walter Eye. She worked and retired from Valley Milk Products in Strasburg where she was a bookkeeper for many years. Jane was a graduate of Strasburg High School class of 1961 and a member of the Strasburg United Methodist Church since her childhood where she sang in the choir and served on the finance committee. She was full of life and had many friends, some of whom she had socialized with since childhood. Jane was an avid fan of music, loved going to the Strasburg Moose to listen to bands play and absolutely loved to play bingo. She was the wife of the late Robert Louis Rosenberger. In addition to her and parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Margaret Holler, Evelyn Hammond, Charles Eye, Linda Eye, Jean Eye Horton, Lawrence "Buck" Eye, and Donald Eye.
Survivors include her children Debbie Pitcock, Mike Rosenberger (Becky Renner), Mark Rosenberger, Pamela Marston (Lacey Marston); her grandchildren Joshua Pitcock, Victoria Pitcock, Zachary Rosenberger, Tara Bly, Megan Bly, Jessica Bly, Alyssa Rosenberger, and Brooklyn Rosenberger; her great-grandchildren Khia Pitcock, Kiera Pitcock, Quincy Williams, Jeremih Williams, Chloe Williams, Briana Williams, Jay Hollar, Elena Hollar, Colton Grimes,Natalie Dorsey, Melanie Dorsey, Olivia Dorsey and her little Leslie. Jane was blessed to have a very special friend in her life, Gill Morrison, whom she so enjoyed spending time with.
Memorial may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Jane.
