Jan Renee Roberts Newman

Jan departed this life on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at her home in Winchester, VA.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Stover Funeral Home for Jan and her mother Anna Rose Newman, Rev. Dr. Franklin S. Roberts will be officiating.

Jan was born April 15, 1969, in Winchester, VA to the late John Lee Roberts and Anna Rose Newman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her grandson Anthony Alex Natale, Jr., and her sisters Jenny Cain and Mary Brown.

Jan attended and gave her life to God at Second Guildfield Baptist Church.  She was a James Wood High School graduate, a homemaker, mother, and grandmother.  Her friend list was endless.  She always laughed and joked with everyone.  Her opinion was stern and to the point.  She was a very giving person.   She loved her children and always said her grandchildren were her heart.   She loved them so much.

She is survived by her children Allyssa Natale, Anthony Natale; a grandson Jaxon Natale; her siblings Sarah Lee Newman , Lloyd Newman, Benjamin Cain, John Cain, Perry Newman and Otelia Lawson.

Jan will truly be missed by so many.  Jan made a difference in every life she touched.
