We are sad to announce the passing of James "Jim" Edward Gibbons Jr. of Strasburg, Virginia. James passed away in his home at the age of 81 on July 30th, 2022.

James grew up in Bethesda, MD and graduated from Walter Johnson High School.

James was predeceased by his father (James E. Gibbons Sr.) his mother (Lucille Clarke Gibbons) and his sister (Beverley Moore). James left behind his wife (Lynda McKibbin Gibbons), two sons (James Edward Gibbons III and Michael Wayne Gibbons), five grandchildren (Kayla, Kelsey, Ryan, Sydney, and Shannon), and one great grandchild (Ace).

As per his family's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held at this time. To honor James's memory, we will be holding a private celebration of his life with immediate family members at a later date.

Family asks that all donations be made in Jim's name to Strasburg Vol. Rescue or Strasburg Fire Department.
