Jacqueline Jo "Jackie" McIlwee, age 72, of Star Tannery passed away early Friday morning, March 30, 2018 at her home.

A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Stover Memorial Chapel, Strasburg with Rev. John E. Haynes, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Springs Cemetery, Star Tannery.

Mrs. McIlwee was born September 25, 1945 in Winchester, a daughter of the late Joseph Stanley and Elizabeth Robinson Sheetz. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, wife and a second "Mom" to the many children she watched and loved in her home over the years.

Surviving are her husband of almost 53 years, Vernon Glynn McIlwee; her children, Vernon Dean McIlwee and wife, Jeannette of Mt. Jackson, Everett Len McIlwee and wife, Susan Frances of Lebanon Church, Jason Daniel McIlwee of Broadway and Justin Lee McIlwee and wife, Morgan of Broadway; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dean McIlwee, Everett McIlwee, Jason McIlwee, Justin McIlwee, Bryan Payne and Carter Lee McIlwee.

Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew McIlwee, Andrew McIlwee and Kyle McIlwee

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home, 177 No. Holliday St., Strasburg on Monday from 7:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m.
