Hilda Virginia Vance 93 of Strasburg, VA passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, at Consulate Healthcare in Woodstock, VA.

A graveside service for Mrs. Vance will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Panorama Memorial Gardens with Rev. Sonya Williams-Giersch officiating.

Mrs. Vance was born on February 14, 1929, the daughter of the late Etta Mary Hockman Armel.  She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Walter Vance, Jr. and a brother Joseph Hockman.

Survivors include her daughter Phyllis Vance Larrick and husband Wesley and one granddaughter Sara Larrick Papa and husband Joseph all of Strasburg, VA along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family asks that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
