Herman Ray Shane 91, of Middletown, VA passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at the home of his daughter.

A graveside service for Mr. Shane will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2022 at Mount Carmel Cemetery with Rev. Keith Warren officiating.

Mr. Shane was born in Winchester, VA on October 15, 1930 a son of the late Fred Neil and Vernie Altoona Chrisman Shane.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Earl Herman Shane and a grandson Jeff Clark.

Survivors include his daughter Virginia Clark (Larry) of Middletown, VA; his grandchildren Brandi and Mike; his great grandchildren Savanna and Dylan.
