Hazel Sager Eckert, 95, of Strasburg, VA gave up her earthly life for a heavenly crown on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

A graveside service for Mrs. Hazel Eckert will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Winchester, VA Pastor Keith Warren officiating.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 6-8 p.m.

Hazel Lincoln was born in Star Tannery, VA on March 20, 1928, the daughter of the late Roger Pittnam and Bessie Orndorff Sager.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John "Jack" Eckert, and her four siblings, Hester C. Sager, Roger (Bob) Sager, Lamaris Sager Hill and James (Tom) Sager.

She worked as a registered nurse for Winchester Memorial Hospital for 42 years, primarily in the Labor and Delivery and Postpartum.

Survivors include her daughter Victoria Lynn and husband Stephen Feltner, and one grandson Christopher Feltner all of Strasburg, VA, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Feltner, Chris Feltner, Keith Warren, Dusty Dillman, Eddie Sealock and Gary Jenkins.
