Gregory Scott Racey, 54, of Strasburg, VA passed away Friday, May 3, 2024 at his residence.

Greg was born in Washington, DC on January 3, 1970 the son of Barbara Ellen Griffey Racey and the late Thomas Mitchel Racey, Sr.  He worked as a truck driver and was preceded in death by two brothers Thomas M. Racey, Jr. and Jeffrey S. Racey and a nephew Travis Hockman.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Christel Dawn Himelright Racey; his son Austin Racey; step children Aaron Sager and Shannon Cook; five grandchildren; his brothers Mike Racey and Rick Racey; one uncle Aubrey Griffey;  four nieces; one nephew along with numerous cousins.
