Gladys King Huddleston, 98, of Strasburg, VA passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center.

A graveside service for Mrs. Huddleston will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2023, at Quantico National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 6-8 p.m.

Mrs. Huddleston was born in Wise, NC on February 10, 1925, a daughter of the late J Van and Annie Finch King.  She worked as a loan officer in financial lending.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Teddy Garland Huddleston, brothers Herbert H. King, Everette W. King, Van E. King, and Peter F. King.

Survivors include her special companion of 29 years Wayne Stickley of Strasburg, VA; a sister Doris Ann Newman (Claude) of Wise, NC; a stepdaughter Betty Ann Huddleston Guertin (Paul); a step grandson John Blevins along wish numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
