Gary Wayne Drummond 64 of Martinsburg, WV and formerly of Strasburg, VA passed away Monday, September 5, 2022, at the Berkley Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.

A celebration of life service for Gary will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Strasburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Wade Armentrout officiating.   The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Gary was born in Winchester, VA on December 16, 1957, a son of the late John Magnus and Glenna Irene Racey Drummond.  He was a 1977 graduate of Massanutten Military Academy, was a member of the Moorefield Masonic Lodge 29 and served on the Moorfield Board of Zoning Appeals.

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Laura Riffey Drummond of Martinsburg, WV; his beloved children Charlie Drummond (Ginny) of Mechanicsville, VA, Rebecca Drummond Bassett (Ryan) and Claude Cameron Drummond (Fiancée Nikki Cole) all of Martinsburg, WV; his grandchildren Addison Drummond, Kinsey Drummond, and Georgia Bassett; his siblings Dennis "Denny" Drummond (Brenda) and Linda Drummond Anderson (Michael) along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
