Frances Kenney 72, of Winchester VA passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester,,VA.

Ms. Kenney was born in Baltimore, MD on November 18, 1951, the daughter of the late Paul Hildred Dawson and Janice Lou Booth Moser.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers-in-law Ted Davis and Stanley Cleavenger.  Frances loved her family very much. She loved riding on the farm with Chuck checking on the cattle and the calves is what she did on a daily basis.  Bottle feeding them and helping them grow up was fun for her to do.  She loved the outdoors and enjoyed just being out on the farm and helping Chuck when she could. She will be miss by all.

Survivors include her fiancé Chuck Hodson, her siblings Sandra Cleavenger, Paula Davis, Pamela Rampey (Bill), Angela Hecko(John), Paul Dawson(Erica), stepmom Saundra Dawson, Julie Copenhaver loved her like her own daughter, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service for Ms. Kenney will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Stover Funeral Home, burial will follow in the Lebanon Church Cemetery in Lebanon Church, VA.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Wiley, Bobby Jett Jr., Jackie Hockman, Tom Leakas, Bill Rampey, and Paul Dawson.
