Eldon Vincent Kimble 66 of Star Tannery, VA passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center, Winchester, VA.

A funeral service for Mr. Kimble will be conducted at 11:00 Friday, September 23, 2022, at Strasburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Ken Patrick officiating. Mr. Kimble will be laid to rest in the Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery in the Mountain Falls community.

The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Mr. Kimble was born in Winchester, VA on November 28, 1955, a son of the late Golden Vincent and Delora Ruth Borror Kimble.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator having worked for Perry Engineering.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Jerry Kimble and Danny Kimble.

Survivors include his companion of many years Patricia Chaparro; his son Eldon Vincent "Vinnie" Kimble, Jr. (Kim Moore); his grandson Johnathan Kimble; stepchildren Paul Frame, Tammy Chaparro, Sarah Frame, and Tonya James; nine step-grandchildren; his siblings Ricky Kimble and Eleanor Carey along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family asks that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials contributions to Stover Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
